Jim, I couldn't agree more that the "tunes" of the tailpipe is a required part of the experience. I don't want to lose the "brap" and the ringing tones that come on with power. It's that infernal low-frequency drone that drowns out everything else between 1500 and 2200 rpm (setup dependant) which I'd like to be rid of. In my case, the headers and pipes I have make the snake sound like an old flat-head Harley motor. I love melodies I get when laying into the accelerator.
