I have a 95 RT10. I had the rear end replaced, everything seems to works fine. However, after driving it around now, I find that it sometimes pops out of third gear, and I have trouble getting it into reverse. It did not do this before the differential went out. Any help ?

I had a similar problem with not being able to hit reverse. It was a random occurrence. Turned out that my clutch pedal bushing was gone... and the clutch pedal travel was shortened just enough that I could not get the tranny into reverse with the engine running.

I had to replace the pedal assembly for the same reason. Just a little wear will reduce the travel quite a bit.

A test for this would be that the clutch must be depressed all the way to shift into first, while stopped, without forcing it.

Reverse isn't synchronized so it will be the worst.

I don't see how the rear could have anything to do with this.
