Has anyone heard of or used CV half shafts?

TNT used to sell some CV joints as their most heavy duty piece, a step above the regular heavy duty half-shafts. I don't believe they carry them anymore because of the cost and the fact that better half-shafts are available now. At the time they went mostly on high-HP cars that went to the drag strip, where the U-joints were usually the weak link.

As Jon B said above, at this point, nearly all are using upgraded U-joint shafts with no issues. As far as I know, all Viper Days racers use u-joint shafts, and the Oreca Vipers did as well.... although they may have been made of an alternative material. BTR, TNT, The Parts Rack, Unitrax, and other suppliers of these parts are located on the Performance Parts Page I'm sure they'd all talk half shafts and pricing.
