Look at the water valve on top on the heater(behind the plastic HVAC cover on the right rear of the engine compartment)...see if the cable loop end has slipped off of the water valve...have seen this several times...place loop back on valve, and try again.
Steve is exactly correct. It happened to me and it's a simple fix. The loop will occasionally come off. I think it happens when you're cleaning the engine compartment.
There is a cable loop attached to the vent to let in hot air right near the air box on the passenger side. Make sure this loop has not come off the shaft. It pops off from time to time. I just pushed one of those inside facing star washers on top off the shaft to keep the loop from popping off.
