There is no approval for a GTS model yet. If they stay with the same formula, you can expect Chapter 4 around 05-06.

With the convertible top they may also say that there is no need for a GTS version. At this point nothing is certain.

I encourage you to express your interest in the Chapter 4 GTS as well as the ORECA Viper race program. As of now there is no activity or schedule or plan to develop a chapter 4 GTSR Viper.
The LMP race program funding is limited to Le Mans and prep for Le Mans. I think it would be useful to remind the new management at D-C the importance of the Viper to the image of Dodge and turn around history of the company. Chrysler sales are down, and a major loss for 2000. NASCAR is still getting the funding which I think is a mistake. The typical Viper owner that I know has a 2nd Chrysler product and in some cases fleet vehicles. The point being we buy more than just a Viper. I would expect the NASCAR market to address the one car or truck owner market. I would like to see the evaluation of Return On Investment of NASCAR vs the overall VIPER program (including ORECA Le Mans and full ALMS series). D-C sales in the Bay Area could be much higher if the dealership would have the same sales and marketing approach as Woodhouse and Claude Short(Santa Monica Dodge TBD) Express you interest in the Chapter 3 and 4 Viper as well as Le Mans and ALMS racing programs. In our area (N.CA.) the Laguna Seca Race (ALMS or FIA) was the biggest regional VCA event of the year. Thousands of race enthusiast observed the Vipers win and saw 40 Vipers in the VCA parking Corral. Buy your new Dodge now!
