Help me! Driver side elec. broke

Well I've had about 3 months of problem-free ownership and then a weird thing happened today - my driver side door handle and the speakers stopped working. I have to use the pull-handle to get out, but the exterior door button still works. I'm guessing that some of the wires going from the body to the door have a bad connection somewhere. Has anyone seen this before?

This happened to me on my 00 GTS. The wiring harness fractured where it entered the door. A trip to the dealer and it was fixed under warranty.

Happened to me last week. I got my dad to fix it for me. The door harness got fractured, same as TacDoc says.

If its under warranty they will fix it for you. Make sure to tell them your speaker doesnt work either.

Happened to me last weekend; the wires pinch & break after repeated temp change & repetitive door action. Snip the rubber off & splice ant broken wires, then replace the rubber & tape on the seam.

Thanks for all your replies. Like you said BigMedicine, seems like it's temperature related since we've all had it happen so recently. I'll go check the wires.

so if that happens, anyone remember which or what color wire will need to reconnect?? and look like most newer vipers got this problem..........

whichever color is broken. just match the wire color & splice end to end.
