Borla makes a great Sounding system. If gaining power is not you main goal then this may be a good place to look. If you want more power and a real powerful sound then you need to do a little more work.

Before you buy, make sure you hear the system you will be using first. Once you make your selection, find a club member who has gone through the same experience, and that should make your goal easier to obtain.

Listen to as many different systems as you can and then make your choice, exhaust note is a personal preference thing. I personally love my TNT cat-back system. It is 3" stainless with 4" tips, sounds great to me, and picked up 25 RWHP & 35 ft-lbs at 4000-4500 RPM (+12HP at peak).

Good luck on your quest...

I'm in the final stage of purchasing a '99 RT/10 - I hope to make a xmas present for myself & get it home before this weeks end. The only thing I'm really interested in doing this winter is to make the snake growl a bit more. I have an extended warranty and do not want to sacrifice it.

So I'm fishing for input on an agressive sounding "cat-back" system, I enjoy the sound of a muscle / sports car so by agressive I mean throaty, growl, into a roar kind of sound. A power increase is also always welcome, but not my main goal.

This is a winter project for sometime over the next month or so.

Thanks,

dave.
