Help with Radio

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas to all! My 03 Viper radio does not play CD's so I bought another radio on e-bay from an 06.........Played the cd for a couple of days and now I get the error reading CD? whats up? are they all junk or am I having bad luck?

I think you're having bad luck. I've owned two Gen. 3's and never had the problem you described.

Just a thought...have you tried different CDs? Maybe the CD you have is scratched? Or the cynic in me says maybe the seller on Ebay knew the player was going bad and thats why he sold it?

Thanks, I tried three and one was brand new. So I take it there arn't any problems and they are reliable. How would you know the CD player was going bad?

I think you're having bad luck.
I put a Gen III Radio/6CD changer in my GenIV and it works great. I hated the single disc/MP3 player B.S.
Call me old fashioned
