After my car warms up, it idles between 1500-1800 unless I turn the engine off and then restart it. After that it idles perfectly at 900-1000. The car has an AEM computer. I talked to one of their tech supports yesterday who informed me that this unit replaces the OEM computer, which has been relocated to control the power locks and alarm only. The AEM computer does not have the relearning throttle issue that the OEM does so it is not that. The tech did not know why this is occuring. Why does restarting the car solve this issue? Thanks, Ron.
