Hood latch adjustments ????

OK, one more 'nubie' question for you all and I'll try to stop showing my nubieness.

I just noticed that the passenger side of the hood is noticeably raised in the front. I know it wasn't like this when I purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago. I've adjusted both front hood latch brackets to where the passenger side bracket is as far down as it will go, and the drivers side bracket is up as far as it will go. Still, the passenger side of the hood is noticeably raised.

Is there another hood adjustment somewhere I can't find? Or is this a sign of a bigger problem like a bent hood frame rail? Any suggestions?

I'd like to hear about this one as well. My driver's side is slightly higher than the passenger side.

Don't forget to adjust the rubber bump stops as well.

Do a search for the words "hood gap" it's been discussed many times, lots of info on adjustments etc.

First step is to see if latched hood is correctly riding on rubber bumpers. Put piece of paper on bumper, shut hood. See if you can pull out paper. If it just pulls out your bumpers are set too low. Turn them. Do this along with adjustments on the latches until it is correct. Mark the latch with tape before loosening or you'll move up or down more than you think.

He means 'bump stops', don't want you to be confused. He's right though, the hood should rest on the bump-stops. It's not that hard to readjust the bump-stops and hood latches, I'm a newbie and that's the first thing I did when I got mine last week.
