How do you break an OSG diff?

Lost a lot of transmission fluid as you can guess from that 'extra hole' caused by a 'free' crown gear securing bolt.

Opened it up and it looked like this.

Way to many loose crown gear bolts - 5 out of the 10 had sheared - the rest were loose (finger tight).

Buyer beware!!!

I was very luck - no broken gear bits so therefore no catastrophic explosion - I live to drive another day.

Will be interested to know what excuse the seller is going to come up with this time!

Just imagine what you would have done to the diff if you had it fitted in a fast RED car!!
