I did a search and some guy selling 40mm rear calipers floods the results, so I haven't found the answer. ;)

How are the OEM Brembo 4-piston calipers installed on the rear? I'm sure there is a special bracket, but when hung on the edge of the rear rotor, the outer half of the caliper is thick enough that it hits the inside of a 17" wheel. Does this application use wheel spacers or perhaps the front rotors at the rear? And then do some, most, or all 4-piston calipers installed at the back also use spacers or different rotors?

(Just doing some homework...)

I can take some pictures of Henry's race car, as this is the setup he currently has. Probably won't be until the weekend, unless I get a few spare moments tonight.

Bingo. Some or all of the above are required. The Dilusi setup requires hacking off the aluminum caliper mounts and installing a bracket that mounts to the hub bolts (lengthened).

You might search for something like "Viperspeed front to rear calipers"

Thanks, Dean, I found this:

So OK, if the caliper is centered over the rotor, there still must be more to it. Either the front rotor is used in back to provide enough offset, or the rear wheels are spaced outwards. There isn't enough room between the rear rotor face and the inside of the OEM wheel.

Are StopTech/Wilwood/Brembo rear calipers that skinny that they fit?

I'm in process of doing that bracket, :2tu: about 30 days away. Testing new 14" rotor brkts(with big reds), :usa: testing will be complete my the end of the month. Front to rear brkt, using 13" front rotors, and calipers will be finished by then :2tu:

Ck my photo's for pics

The bracket should look like a H beam without 2 of the legs :2tu: You have to cut the mounting tabs off the spindle no matter what you do. Then use the front 13" rotor and the front Brembo calipers. Plus a CNC shop to hog it out to fit.
Check out my photo's I just put up a pic from a Wilwood kit, that has the same type bracket
