In the process of installing headers etc, and I need sims. Anyone have them? Thanks, John Oh yeh-- what a goofy exhaust system. What's the purpose of the crossover junk behind the mufflers?

Sims, http://www.o2sensorsimulator.com/

The crossover provides some low end torque and evens out the exhaust pulse causing it to sound better. I have run both with and without and prefer it as it does take the bark out of the exhaust. As for heat It makes very little difference in side sill temp as it is behind the seats. In our house car with headers, our custom exhaust system and heat wrap we have elected to put the crossover back in our house car as it plain sounds better and runs better. I can lay my hands flat on the side sill at any time even when it is 85 degrees out without burning my hands.

I looked at the product linked in above, and went with JonB for sims on my 03 (I'm assuming it's the same setup... I wasn't interested in splicing wires and such. The only catch was I had to cut a tab off the connector, but it was pretty plug and play (more money by ~$30) but much much cleaner.

I wasn't interested in splicing either so I tried JonB's 02 sims on my 04 and the car didn't like...them the check engine light kept coming on.

I ended up plugging the 02 **** and then tied the sensor up next to the transmission. It's been like that for the last 9k miles with no problems. Kinda hokey but it works for me.

I'd check with Roe Racing for more input on the sims or look at getting the Mopar race computer which eliminates the secondary 02's and does some other stuff.....

Another option - DC Performance computer tune - they can delete some functions on the computer and also get you some more hp through the tune.
