I take it we only have 2 tire choices? Dunlop 8000 and Pilots?

It seems like these are the only packages available other than the Kumhos but it looks like the tire life is VERY short. I am looking for an everyday tire with some life. Are the Pilots the longest lasting tire? Or Dunlop? Dry or wet which is better? Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Second the notion on the Dunlop tires. It is amazing how much they impact the handling of the car. In a negative direction.

I have the Dunlop's. I am about to replace them with some pilots. Only problem I have had with them is keeping them balanced. Other then that, they have been fine. I have a set of road race Hoosiers and autox Kumho's, so I use those in hard driving experience. I got the Dunlops more for rain because of the large channels.
