Viper Owner
I usually feel like the top dog on the street in my \'04 Z06...until
Around my area, there aren't too many cars I worry about on the streets. At least nothing that I think looks as good as my Z06. As far as I know, I had the only Viper in my area. That all came to a screeching hault today on the way home from the gym. I just got back to Northumberland and was waiting at a stop sign when I see two Gen 3 Vipers, a nasty looking 96 GTS with a big wing with a PA plate "96 GTS" and I think a red Gen 1 (could've been a Gen 2 but I was too focused on the red and silver Gen 3's to take notice). I've always been a huge fan of the GTS's but today was the first time I've seen a Gen 3 on the road. Holy crap that is one mean, nasty looking car! I had to laugh because suddenly I felt like I was driving a feaken Geo Metro. I then waited at a green light just to watch them go by. I always read that people think the Gen 3's are more timid looking than the Gen 1's and 2's, but I have to disagree. The front end just looks like the car is mad at the world and I wants to eat anything in it's path! I was dead set on buying a new Z06 in 2006 but I think I'm going to have to visit my local Dodge dealer when the time comes. It's funny how inadequate 405 horsepower can feel when you're in the company of several 500 horsepower Vipers!
