Idle Hang Observation, Anyone else?

I notice that when my idle hangs, most of the time I can get it back to normal if I place the toes of my shoe, feet, under the front of the pedal and lift up.
This would make me think it's more of a cable, spring, mechanism/mechanical issue? If anyone can see if theirs does the same thing, I would be VERY interested in hearing so..

I will try your solution later tonight and see if it has any effect on my car.

I've tried that to no avail
but that does not mean your suggestion for adjusting
the throttle cable won't work
and I'll still try it this weekend.
