I could get them for about $340 a pair now.

We had some hiccups on some of the order on the last one, but we got them resolved. I don't know what happened but it appeared some of the lights in the boxes were marked wrong from the factory.

Let me know I will see what I can do.

In a nutshell H.igh I.ntensity D.ischarge lamps are the lights used in most luxury cars these days. Computer controlled and ignited gas creates the intense white/blue light which is much better...brighter/safer for night driving. Plus they just look really cool. Check out any MB, BMW, Infinity, Gen3 headlights, etc. If you're looking for something more technical..sorry, I'm sure one of the board geeks will chime in.

Xenon bulbs are for poor folks. We own Vipers...*** are you wanting some 9 dollar crap in your car?

Nah I am joking. The HIDs are much better quality. It comes with a ballast (spell?) that actually fires up the bulbs. They last much longer and look much clearer and brighter (depending on which one you get). I had some xenons on my durango (which cost like 26 bucks) and they are good but from afar they look wierd and not very bright.

If you get the HID lights you need not to get xenon bulbs to put them in. Cause the kit comes with HID bulbs, which are way better.

I got the last HID group buy, the package comes with bulds and ballast. It does not come with a lens, for the bulb replaces and directly screws onto the OEM housing. It is really simple to install. You take out your factory bulb, screw on the HID buld, connect bulb to the ballast and you are done.

I don't know about the fog lights.
