First off, HUGE thanks to Steve and Ron for putting on the cool little event.
And by cool, I'm not kidding around....58ºF!
If you have the patience of a ferret on a double espresso, here's the direct link to all the pics:

Below, we have the picstory!
I got a LATE start on Saturday morning. I set my alarm for 6AM, but didn't open my eyelids until 9AM. Not sure what happened there.
Thankfully, the truck was ready to go, and Rachel tossed me out the door at about 10AM.
In just over 2.5 hours, I arrive at the shop where the dyno runs are already in progress and the pizza is cooling off. I thought about hopping on the throttle and trying to make a little time, but Steve called me right as I got onto I-465 and warned me of the "Law Enforcment Officers Who Love Ticketing Vipers" (LEOWLTV) convention that was happening all along US-69 AND SR-37. He was right; lots of 'spectators with pretty lights on top' through that area. I was a good kid and only received looks.
I got to finally meet Steve whom I'd spoke with on the phone, and Ron; the two guys who put the event together. EXTREMELY nice fellows.
The shop is small, but sometimes those are the best. The guys running the place were very cool and treated our vehicles with the utmost respect.
The dyno runs were back to back, one vehicle after another. With the nice crisp outside temp, heat soak was not really an issue.
All the vehicles ran great, and no kablooey episodes! WooHoo!
Enough of my gabbing, here's the pics.....
In the lot of the shop, there were some pretty special Ford vehicles:
HELLO!
I'm not sure if folks know about the Maurader, but it's a pretty badass sedan that Mercury put out a few years ago:
Everytime I see one, I think of the Blues Brothers movie, "It's got a cop motor, cop brakes, cop shocks...."
Okay, onto the Viper stuff!
Steve's ride:
VERY slick! The 'snakes' in the back were a nice touch.
Dyno Action Shots!
What's known as "a good idea":

Happy camper....
At speed:
