I\'m a newbie
Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself and ask the first stupid question. I have been reading this forum for a couple weeks, and finally decided to join so I can learn more about these awesome cars. I drag race everything I own so that is what I am planning on doing with the Viper.
My current main toy is a 2002 Chev truck that I built as a Lightning eater after Ford voided my warranty on a Lightning I had (long story) Anyways I have accomplished all my goals with the truck so it isn't fun anymore. I have always liked the Viper and have decided it is time to own one.
I am hoping that some exhaust work and a shot of "juice" will help the snake to satisfy my need for speed. That is all I am planning on doing at this time, but we all know how things snowball.......Anyways, my first question is how much nitrous can a stock motor (forged piston version) take without any fuel system upgrades or any other mods-just bolt the kit on a stock Viper? I know there are many variables, just looking for suggestions and maybe the voice of experience.
Thanks guys, I hope to become a useful member of this board.
