Looks like a 10" Meade LX-200 scope with electric focus, all sitting on a superwedge. I thought everyone had one of those.

Doors at least 8' high & 12" wide, drains in the floor, an I beam across the center for an engine hoist, 12' ceilings for clearance when pulling engines or stacking cars, I came up 2' with block & then put the wood on that so when washing cars in there the wood won't get wet. Plan all your electrical outlets, 220 for welders & compressors. Run pipe for compressed air in various locations in the garage. Plan for a lot of fluorescent lighting even on the walls so you can see the side of the car when working on it. Space for work bench, tool box & storage. Plan for windows, sky lights, insulated doors, cable tv, telephone lines, water lines, gas line for heat, bathroom, air conditioning, refridgerator, bar ?? Hope some of these ideas help!

definatley do a lift.. it has paid for itself in beer atleast twice by now!!

How about this one: 25,000 sq. ft. steel framed with logs split and rejoined around the framing to look like log cabin. Shower, sauna, upstairs office and upstairs guest suite overlooking private 20 acre lake.

All adjacent to his large log home on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan . . .!!

Hey USAF Viper. Do you have to drive your Vip up on some 2x's to get the lift arms under it? I agree on the lift being a must-have. I have a two-post Complete Hydraulics coming next week.

yes I have to use them.. but i marked the floor and it takes about 2 seconds to lay them out... not really a big deal..

I am planning a new garage with PRF walls on the section where the lift is going in. I will have a floor drain and two sealed halogen floor lights that are intslled flush with the floor. You can wash your car inside and the floor lights are awesome when working on your car.
