Installing Fog Lights on ACR

First, I would like to add fog lights to my ACR. Second, I want them to be HID. So, my questions are:

1. Does it matter if I go with Gen 2 or 3 fog light housings?
2. What all do I need to add fogs?
3. If I am also adding HID headlights, where are you all mounting the ballasts? I plan to put the headlight ballasts in the headlight housing, so I guess the question is, where do you put the fog light ballasts?
