Installing Random Tech Cat Back need advice

I bought a Cat Back Random Tech exhaust from JonB. I'm going to install it this weekend.

If I remember right I can install the muffler either direction to increase or decrease sound.

I have searched everywhere for a sound clip with this exhaust and can't find a full system. Just cats.

I want to know the difference in sound level installing the muffler both ways?

I bought this same system from Jon. I first put the mufflers on the quiet way. I wanted them louder so I switched them around. It was a little louder but not as much as I had hoped. So I have them on the loud way, wishing it was a bit louder but they are ok. Sorry no video of the difference

Thanks, I will go with the louder setting.

Dumb question but do I have to drop the front part of the exhaust to cut off the stock cats and weld on the new ones? Or can I do it while on the car?

I took mine off. Welded the cats on and clamped the rest. Installed the mufflers with the teeth towards the rear.

Thanks for the pic! How did you decide where to cut the old cat's off?

Did you cut them at the original welds?
