Hi Guys

I'm thinking of going TT this winter, yes I will be using Dan at VSP. When I inquired how much my insurance would go up Melloche Monnex told me they don't insure modified cars. SO????

To you modified fellas out there, what company do you use here in Ontario??

Thanks

I dont know if it is available, but most everyone around here with big builds is talking to Grundy for an agreed value policy. They have no restrictions so long as you have a daily driver, and don't drive it for work.

Their rates are flat depending on how much you insure for. I quoted a 150K policy for myself, I think it came in around 2100/yr. [you can divide the rate by the value, and figure out what a lower value may cost]

Again, not sure... but State Farm actually handles built cars VERY well. A particular TT Viper that was wrecked TWICE locally was fully funded by State Farm for a rebuild, including the upgraded parts. Never had an argument with them at all about the upgraded parts.
