Interesting 99 ACR oil consumption...

No cooties -- I have 1400 miles and don't seem to have burned a drop of oil. Either a real tight engine or I've been running off the starter.

I've added about 1/4 of a quart under similar conditions. Excellent by any measure.

I have 3200 miles on my '00 ACR and I have not had any problem with oil usage. I changed my oil at 2000 miles right after returning from my first track event with the vehicle at VOI 6. I just ran in two events at Limerock Park in CT, and will be changing the oil again today (still reading full on the stick).

I think that most people drive their Vipers sparingly and with such low milage you shouldn't expect much oil useage.

I have almost 5000 miles on my 99 GTS. I was down approx 3/4 of a quart at 500 miles when I changed the oil for the first time. I changed oil again at 3200 miles and was down about a quart. I run the car relatively hard during mostly in town driving and one track day. It's a bit hard to get consistent readings because of the 2 quart range on the dipstick, but I figure I'm using a quart every 2000 to 2500 miles or so.
