Hi Paul,
I did the conversion myself two years ago. The car is simply 'missing' the A.C. parts. The heater housing, for example, is the same. You just need to add the A.C. items into it. Your dash control is the same. It has a small black sticker covering the A.C. "snow flake" location. All the other items are simple bolt-ons as well. Basically, the Vipers Heating and A.C. systems were designed in a modular fashion.
The true trick is to acquire all the items you need. My understanding is that Chrysler stopped making the add-on kits years ago. Therefore, your only out is to find a used system or buy the parts individually from a dealer. The used route is the best. You can probably find someone on here who has removed their system for performance reasons. Another good source would be Jon B. at the Parts Rack, or Viper Parts Larry, to name a couple.
As for installation, your Viper tech and dealership should be able to direct you to whatever shop services their cars. I have to tell you that it was definitely worth doing. The car is much more enjoyable with the A.C. in it.
Good luck,
Paul
