A friend and I made an 18 hour trip yesterday from Indiana to Heffner's Performance Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. What a trip! I drove my 96 GTS, and my friend drove my wife's 2002 ZO6. Jason met us at his shop along with his wife, employees, Jamie Furman, and Gary A.
Jason showed us around, and we got to see several projects that he was working on, including Gary A's car. Unbelieveable!
The workmanship and attention to detail was amazing. After visiting with all of them, I was sure that I made the right decision in taking my prized GTS to him. He is a "stand up" guy who really enjoys what he does, and pays attention to the details.
I enjoyed meeting all of you, and I'll see you again soon when I pick up my transformed GTS.

He's going to install a JT trim Vortech blower with complete fuel system upgrade, a new design 3 core air to air intercooler, complete head package, modified intake manifold, new design cam and timing chain set, Fluidyne radiator, radiator hose kit, 180 degree thermostat, custom rollbar, 5 point seat belts, and maybe some other "top secret" goodies.
I already have 1.7 T&D's with chrome moly pushrods, SVS stainless headers and exhaust, Unitrax lightweight half shafts, 4 wheel StopTech brakes, 18" wheels/tires, TNT scattershield, and other minor items.
All of this should work pretty well together to transform my GTS from a Clark Kent to a Superman. Jason really has a first class operation.

It was great meeting you guys. Glad you made it safely back.

You're a real Viper enthusiast! (Driving your car in snow and salted roads for 9 hours!) You'll love your car when it's done and I doubt if the return trip will take 9 hours!

96 GTS, Congratulations! I will be taking my 1996 GTS to Jason in the next month to have the 73,000 mile motor rebuilt, with Oliver custom billet rods, Ross custom forged pistons, Heads, cam, blower, fuel system, drive shaft loop, intercooler, and the modified intake. I also will be requesting all the "Top Secret" Goodies I can get! Where do you live in Indiana? Maybe you can come to Chicago this summer and hang out with myself and the TOOFAST gang! We'll have a blast! Good luck and I concur with everything you said about Jason Heffner and the quality of his workmanship and how clean and awesome everything looks! Paolo

P.S. How did you like the Diablo Jason is doing all the R&D on for the twin Supercharger system he will be fabricating? That car is of course the best color ever made, right?

Hey George!

Jason's roll bars are custom made. He's having one made for my car right now that beats anything I've seen out there (and for a price that beats all too!).

Look forward to seeing you again in Florida!

Congrats--and you won't be sorry. Jason is one of those few folks who are doing what they were born to do. Technical skill plus talent. Great guy.

Thanks to all of you for your comments. Russ' car is one that I am very anxious to complete as it will continue to raise the bar for supercharged performance. It was really nice to meet you and Larry over the weekend and I'll look forward to seeing you again in a couple of months. Meanwhile I'll be hard at work making sure this project exceeds tour every expectation. The best advice I can give anyone that sees this car in their rear view mirror is, GET OUT OF THE WAY! See you soon.
