Now, on to July. For those of you who were able to break away for the June event…you saw my enthusiasm about this event. A DRIVE IN!! That’s right; we are headed out to a drive-in movie on a Saturday night. We will be taking a step back into time when the local car clubs would gather their horsepower and invade the local drive-in thereby turning it into a car show and drive-in that all could enjoy. And as we rumble out there and head home, we will have the cool summer breeze and the clear skis to help us remember those days so long ago when gas was way less then a dollar and when times were a bit simpler. So call the baby sitter, dust off the car, pack the small cooler and get ready to take a step back into time!
When:
Saturday, July 19th
Meet at 6:30pm and leave at 7:00pm
Where:
Meeting Place: Gattiland Pizza place in Round Rock (Southwest corner of I-35 and Highway 79). It’s a big shopping center parking lot.
Dinner:
It’s a drive-in…eat in your car and bring plenty of napkins J
