Just bought a NEW \'02 Yellow GTS

After months of searching for the right car / deal, I secured a new GTS today with 27 miles on it. Yellow with no stripes. Should be shipped within 7 to 10 days. Sealed the deal for $65k plus $750 of luxury tax. This will be my 3rd Viper (first two were RT/10's - '95 and '99). Both were great cars but looking forward to trying out a coupe. Also my first new Viper.

Any ideas how to obtain a 2002 factory Viper sales brochure if my dealer is out of stock. Believe they only get 1 Viper per year. I assume they have no brochures at this point.

Wow! That sounds like a great deal!

I'm looking at an FE GTS this Friday - what is invoice on these cars gang? $65K sounds like a huge discount below invoice on an '02 - I suspect a deal like that is going to be hard to come by everywhere you go.

Invoice on a striped GTS is 72,238......MSRP is 79,000

Invoice on a NON-Striped gts is 68,328.....MSRP is 76,000

Congrats! I too just received my Yellow 02 GTS with no strips. It's one of eighty three made this year. Absolutely awesome car. The bad thing is the break in, it's real hard to keep this car under 2500 rpm's for the first 200 miles and so forth, a 1000 miles until the break in is complete seems like forever now. Good luck!!!

I think Woodhouse buys cases of Viper brochures every year, you may want to see if they will sell you one?

Hell of a deal on your Viper. Paid $67,000 for my full loaded 02 Yellow RT/10 and I thought i got a great deal. Which I did.

I too am in need of a 2002 Viper brochure. Any out there for sale or give away, ha, ha. My dealer never had any in stock.

because you will contract yellow fever in a mere few days after purchase and everything you own you will paint yellow.

This is my first post, and I'm a new 02 GTS YELLOW driver. Did a Friday test at Willow Springs, car runs really gooood!! Not up to speed yet, need shoulder harness and roll bar. My other racecar was a 89 SSC Saleen 300RWH w/IRS best time 134.59, so now I have to beat that, after running hot laps looks like that shouldn't be a problem

) I'll be at Viper Days in Jan
