K&N filters

Hi Guys
I'm new in this forum and i have just a question. Today i install the K&N Filters on my 03 SRT 10. I have just drilled out the two holes. It is necessary disconnect the battery and how much time? Sorry, but my english is very bad.

NO ! Do not unhook the battery ! It will throw the alarm system way off ! I had to learn the hard way....

It's about a 10 minute job. Don't disconnect battery.
