Angry Wife Gets Revenge Via eBay
Wednesday, June 22, 2005

Tim Shaw has gotten in trouble again — and this time it counts.

In February, as previously reported in Out There, the obnoxious British shock jock was suspended "indefinitely" from his radio DJ job for the on-air trashing of his boss' house.

Last Thursday night, he was doing his usual 10 p.m.-to-1 a.m. shift at Birmingham-based Kerrang! 105.2 FM — here's his bio page — when he told pin-up girl Jodie Marsh (search) on air that he'd be willing to leave his wife and two kids for her.

Unfortunately, his long-suffering wife was listening — and quickly put up his Lotus Esprit Turbo sports car for sale on eBay.

"I need to get rid of this car immediately — ideally in the next 2-3 hours before my cheating [****] husband gets home to find it gone and all his belongings in the street," Hayley Shaw wrote on the eBay description page, which as of Wednesday afternoon was still up.

"I am the registered owner and I have the log book. Please only buy if you can pick up tonight," she added.

The auction lasted exactly five minutes and three seconds. The car, estimated to be worth $45,000, sold for 50 pence (90 cents) and was soon driven away by a buyer who wishes to remain anonymous.

"I am sick of him disrespecting this family for the sake of his act," Hayley Shaw told a Birmingham newspaper. "The car is his pride and joy, but the idiot put my name on the log book [registration], so I just sold it. I didn't care about the money. I just wanted to get him back."

Last July, according to The Independent of London, Shaw upset his then-pregnant wife by saying on-air that he fantasized about sex with her sister. When she tearfully called to complain, he put her on air as well.

A month later, he nearly choked to death when a sausage he was simulating a sex act on broke in half.

A Kerrang! 105.2 spokesman said Tuesday that Shaw had taken a few days off to try to patch things up with his wife, who told newspapers "there is no hope for a reconciliation."

Too bad it wasnt stateside. I think I could have mustered up the cash for that Lotus in my gym pants. Thats why I will never have a single thing of high personal value in my girlfriends or future wifes name. Whenever things go wrong, and they will, they get childish and vindictive. A mans gotta protect his assets in todays society. Imagine coming home after a phone fight and finding your Viper was traded in for a Vette cause she got pissed at you? Oh the horror...1-800-HITMAN would be my next move lol....Im sorry for his *** in divorce court lol.

Bah, it's his own damn fault for trash talking his wife and family on the radio. I don't blame her one bit for being pissed, tho selling the car prob was a bit over the top. You know for a fact if your wife/gf told 20 million people she fantasized about fu*king your brother or one of your buddies, you'd be freakin livid. Hell I would.

Both people are wrong in this case. The DJ ran his mouth about stuff he shouldnt and the wife overreacted. I'm afraid this will result in another messy divorce and the only winners will be the lawyers and the main losers will be the kids.

I wonder if its this same sort of stuff that caused Howard Stern to get divorced a few years ago. He was pretty outrageous, although he never ate a sausage on air to my knowledge. Mostly ******* spanking, and midgets, etc.

Thats exactly why I said what I said in the above post...Ive seen a few friends go through this and its just not gonna happen to me if I can help it. The gloating of the women because they know they are gonna win in court was almost unbearable for me and Im not the one married to the broads lol...Guys that handle this and go on living crime free lives ;) I give them alot of credit..I dont know if I could handle that kind of legal ******.

I see no reason for a man to get married in todays society even for the sake of a child. Marriage is now a business...Why would I invest in a business that has a 60% probabilty of failure and when it fails you are guaranteed to lose at "least" half of what you invested? Thats how I see marriage. Not worth it for me.

That is a great way to look at it. It may not be the happiest way, but its a very smart way. I've never been married, but came very close and it really put a mental beating on me when it crashed and burned. The DJ's wife took a situation and made it 100x worse. Whatever happens, she is just as guilty (actually more) than her husband.

Oh that poor victimized woman. She didn't marry a shock jock for the money, it was true love. How dare he continue to do his job and support her expensive taste. Duh.

Reconciliation? Everything is working as she planned. She's making herself out to be a victim and you guys are all buying it. He should divorce her and leave her with nothing. But that wont happen in today's World - the wife is always the poor innocent victim.

On a related note: Hey everybody, I'm getting married! She's a dancer at Mons and makes $2K nightly and is going to buy me another Viper. Oh how I love her so. Wish us luck.
