Anybody know how to re-program the keyless remote on 2002 GTS? Owners manual is no help. Just bought the car and it only comes with one remote. Just got two extra remotes from e-bay.

Agree that Tony's link to Ron's well described method is worth a try...BUT, I am NOT sure that this works on LATE Gen II's...PLEASE let us know one way or another...as there are some alarm changes around 2000, as I understand situation.

Tony,

Since the procedure I outlined years back does work up through 2002,perhaps you could update or add a note to the archive.

Thanks,

Ron

Yep...I've been watching this thread for just that reason, but it'll have to wait till tomorrow. :) Somehow, my 16 year old son got roped into working tonight (a Sunday night!!) and we JUST got home. I cannot wait until he can get his license!! :) I'm a cool dad, though...I went on up about 3 hours ago to pick him up, figuring he'd be done around 9. So...I ended up hanging out and waiting all this time. :( Oh, did I mention he works at *******??? :) LOL!!

Had I know you can work at ******* at 16, I wouldn't have worked in a liquor store at that age. Heck, I would've worked for free! :D

Any updates yet?
