Man this car ***** I thought...Littel did I no that I was shifting when that damn yellow arrow appeared and really to early at 5500 rpm's or so

Tried shifting a lil later

6-12.4 @ 117.9

And then a lil later

7-12.37 @ 119.0
8-12.25 @ 119.3

And then on my 9th and final run shifting right before red line I clicked off a

9-12.08 @ 118.9 1.93 60 ft 7.9 @ 91.3 1/8
0-60 mph in 4.13

Very happy with the ET but dissapointed in the 119 max trapps I called it a night

I'm willin to bet that your performance increase was due to a decrease in outside temps. Cooler air means denser air => More Horsepower...

All of your mods also increase air-flow. Knowing that these cars are known to typically run a lil lean from the factory, increasing air-flow like you did and then adding in the cooler/denser air from winter coming in, and I bet your engine problems came from running WOT in a very lean condition for so many times.

Whatever you do, when you get things worked out; Please get that thing tuned. You'll get more horsepower (and actually see the benefits of your aforementioned performance mods) and be much safer at the same time.

Other than that, congrats on the continued new best e.t's and mph's...

Everyone Ive seen, including mine, ran very,very rich from the factory.

I live in Hawaii..

on the hottest summer day it's 85 degrees
On the coldest winter night it's 69 degrees

typically it's 73-78 degrees all year long

Maybe I mis-stated what I what I was trying to say. Its obvious that you have a few mods from your sig. When you went to dyno after those mods, did the computer compensate well and keep your air/fuel at an optimal point or did it tend to let the car go lean w/ tuning being the solution to the problem. I'm willing to bet that the factory program doesn't do as good of a job of keeping up w/ more airflow as we would assume.

And man, I knew I wanted to move to Hawaii but 73-78 all year long. Now I really wanna move How's the humidity in your location? Does it vary much or is always high or what?

Bone stock some of these cars are in the 10's for A/F. Very , very rich, Added exhaust and lots of mods, Very , very rich. Sent computer to DC, adjusted and now it runs about 12.8-13.1 A/F. Runs great, more power ont he dyno. This sint like your average car. These things are pig rich from the factory and just a few changes like headers and exhaust dont lean it out enough, you need to reprogram.

Gotchya, Never seen a graph as leen as you're describing but that's a very good thing. Means that a majority of these cars are very de-tuned from the factory (which everyone knows already) and that a simple tune should result in great gains... And I wasn't really comparing it to average cars, but more so high-end performance cars Which typically run a tad rich from the factory but respond very well to mods in part because the computers don't compensate to the T for the added air moving through the engine and thus leans them out a little (which results in even more horsepower). Of course, a tune adjusting timing, etc. is always a must as well in my book...
