ORECA was building the Viper GTSR's for the EU market. I think they sold Viper last year not sure about this year.
Team Viper ORECA was a great combo. It took GM 10's of millions of dollars and years to match DC-ORECA.
Wolfgang did not support Le Mans. I spoke to him at VOI8, asking for a return to Le Mans. He said no! Le Mans was to dangerous? His expereince at Le Mans was not good. In 98 the AMG Mercedes motors(3 cars) blew-up in the first few hours of the race. In 1999 the AMG Mercedes flew over the tree tops at Le Mans. That was the end of the AMG Le Mans program. AMG's performance was pretty bad while DC-ORECA came in one and two in class.

Better chance to go back to Le Mans because Wolfgang is gone.
