I should buy a lottery ticket today, cause I almost crashed into an other red Gen 1 this evening, the chance this happens in the Netherlands is 1 out of a million I guess. There are only a handful of these cars in this country.

I was just driving around, being exclusive and extremely fast (as it's a red one), when all of a sudden an other red Viper crosses the street, causing that I couldn't drive further, both with the tops off. I told him to buy an exclusive car, everyone owns a Viper nowadays!

We drove around and raced each other a quite a bit, learning that we were both stock and equally fast! I took my cellphone and made a picture. Turns out he bought the car yesterday and lives in the same village! What a coincidence.

Even over here it's rare indeed to see another while I'm in mine.

There was a time when the gen1 was quite exclusive and rare to see. It's nice to see people dustin' them off and putting them on the road. I know of at least 6 near me (and probably a dozen or so more close by?).

Here, I have the only Vipers within 200 miles of any direction. Cliff in Williams Lake just bought his second Viper (Gen4) because his son borrowed his 07 SRT10 and wrote it off. There's also a yellow RT10 somewhere in Lac La Hache (about 25 miles farther). I suspect that only MY 3 GTSs are the only Viper that have travelled down highway 20 (highway of Death). So sad for all the other Viper owners.

If i lived in the City I'd probably be driving an 8 sec Pro Street car still, but living in the middle of the 'bush' it's a long way to get to any city.
