The Viper Club of America Northern California Region presents the First Slot Car Racing Championship. The Championship is focused on racing 1/24 scale slot cars (RTR slot cars available from the Hobby Shop from various manufactures like Champion, Parma, JK, etc. ) on a road course style with the emphasis of providing fun racing and suitable classes for beginners and experts alike. We will have separate classifications for beginner and expert drivers, determined by qualifying performance. We will run one round of qualifying to seed the main championship racers for the beginner and expert classifications. Trophies will be awarded to the top winners of both classifications. Slot cars and controllers will be provided by the Hobby Shop or you can bring your own

Slot Car Racing (open to all VCA members their family members and guest) is a very exciting activity for the whole family. Children 4 years and older may race.


An Informal Car Show (Reserved Viper Coral Parking) in front of the Hobby Shop is for the enjoyment of participants and shopping center shoppers.


Remote Control Car (Mini Z to 1/5th scale) enthusiast will also have a track available in the shopping center parking lot.


Pizza and refreshments provided to all racers ($15.00) Car Show participants and/or guest ($10.00). From every paid participant $5.00 will be donated to BAMF.

Viper Collectable models (RC Cars, Slot Cars, etc) will be available for sale at the Hobby Shop.

The Hobby Shop has a model car display of old models for a trip down memory lane.

If you want to practice before the event the track is open 7 days a week. They close at 6pm on Sat and Sun. and 7pm week days.

I will be there Sat for a kids race that starts at 6pm. Track is closed except to racers. Visitors are welcome to watch.

If you did not sign-up you are welcome to stop by and socialize.

A local school will have a Grill going for burgers and Hot Dogs for sale to shoppers or visitors, etc.

We expect over 20 cars(mostly Vipers) for the car show. Twenty Five Slot Car Racers singed up.
