I had a chance to talk with Bill at Woodhouse in NE. Seems like a very nice guy. We talked quite some time and he had a alot of great info. I want to buy a car from Woodhouse. How to finance it is another question. Ultimately, these financial decisions can only be made by the individual themselves. - The economics of the purchase, and the best way to go about getting it done. I wanted to tell you briefly about my current situation. Any feedback, opinions or thoughts most appreciated.

Buying a 2001 RT10 outright and laying out the 70K+ is out of the question. Putting down 5 figures+ and having a monthly payment approaching a grand is a real option. What makes my situation a little different though is the company I work for pays my current monthly car lease. They'll continue to pay it directly to a leasing company OR to the creditor financing the PURCHASE. So, I'm currently comin' off my '99 Vette lease and when I do, my $600 a month car allowance goes into thin air. Help!!!!! ....If I buy or lease a new vehicle they'll continue to make the $600 payment. As you might imagine, this is a HUGE beni for me. (interesting implications)

So.........Is this sufficient reason to lease the Viper? (Like I did the Vette) From what I understand Viper leases are rare.......Or is this even more the reason to buy the vehicle (with my down money AND COMPANY MONTHLY PAYMENTS) and have me owning the car outright at the end?

I realize everyone's financial position is different and I've only given you a brief description of my situation, but if you were in my boat, what would you do here?

Thanks, Marc in Boca Raton
