I would like to thank everyone involved in our double win at the VRL season open at Willow Springs. Our crew worked very hard to convert the Mopar drift Comp Coupe to road racing specs in time for the race.

Samuel Hubinette showed everyone that he knew could do much more than drifting,
dominating both WC races in a newly rebuilt car.

Thanks to:

Marco Rad- Car Owner
Kevin Miller- Mopar
EMI Racing- Suspension
Kevin Want- Lead Technician
Chris Jensen - Tech Consultant
Kim Cheney- Director of Motorsports
Usman Malik- Photography

Our goal is to get Samuel familiar with the car in the VRL and then promote a World Challenge effort.

Craig - someone once said that if you do not have something positive to say then don't say anything. You should try to listen to that advice. A demeaning first line followed by "congrats" is not very positive.

For those who complained about drifting, it has brought together a fantastic team, which I believe will serve the Viper Nation well.

Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to turn this drifter into a winning roadracer.

You are a ***** if you think my first line was demeaning.

the drifting was a waste of machinery anyway

Agree with the congrats 100% - awesome to see the Viper winning!

disagree with the drifting comment 100%. That drifting campaign brought the Viper to a whole new generation of kids that were CERTAIN RICER fans before the Viper began to win.... now an American car has shown it can win in a Ricer dominated arena...

That's where a large number of next generation car owners are coming from and it created a whole new wave of enthusiasts for Dodge. It was a marketing coo.

It is also a great spectacle. Someone with the driving skills to do that would NEVER knock it. Respect the skills and don't join the knocking bandwagon - others appreciated it . If you do not like it - no one needs to know.
