MOPAR RACE EXHAUST

has anyone installed the mopar race exhaust system? does it sound good as well ass add power? I would appreciate the comments so I can make my decision on this exhaust. Also the mopar race engine controller.... is it good? Thanks

just got an '06 and it has the Mopar race exhaust on it. i have nothing to compare it to, but it sounds great. i'm told, as i'm sure you are, it adds up to 15hp, but i have no point of reference.

Have the exhaust..and race controller. Car dyno'd 51HP over stock. It also has the Mopar race cam however.

Exhaust sounds great..but I like them loud. At idle and low revs...sounds fine. When you get into it...it barks VERY LOUD.

I have it as well. Everyone gives me compliments on the sound except my wife (what do they know anyway?).

Add a Paxton and the bark becomes menacingly mean.

I did a baseline dyno on my '06 coupe with 700 mostly easy miles on it and pulled 434 hp and 465 torq. I was a bit disappointed at these numbers. I then installed the Mopar race exhaust, race engine controller and K&N intake system with a dyno run one week after the baseline above. Results: 447 hp and 482 torq. Again I was disappointed because I expected more. As far as the sound is concerned, again I was somewhat disappointed. I compare it to my '96 (which,to me,has the best sounding exhaust I have heard) and it does not have nearly the low pitched rumble at idle nor the bad ass roar with acceleration. The '06 is loud but the quality of the sound is not what I had hoped for.
