Exhaust Manifold Flange Gasket

Does anyone know the difference between these two gaskets? Based on the description both gaskets would fit my 97 GTS. I ordered the copper one but the ticking noise from the exhaust flange is still there. The other one looks thicker and might create a better seal. Anyone have the correct part number? Appreicate any insight, thanks much.

Did you ever try the other gaskets? I need to replace mine and I have the same question as you. Which one would be better.

I got you my dude. Depends on your stock exhaust manifold outlets. What Gen/year do you have?

I have a Gen 1 1996 RT10

I thought Gen 1 was 92-95 with Gen 2 starting in 96. Either way need to look at the outlet of your stock exhaust manifolds. The correct gasket is dependent on the design of the outlet. This an easy install provided you have the right gasket. Take a look at the picture of the Viper manifolds and notice the exit designs are different. Which one do you have?

I think you need the thicker style donut gasket then
