Not a knock or anything, but why would you need 2 superchargers to make 167 extra horse power? If Vortech can make a kit for the Ls1 engine (small 350) that makes 150 extra horse power, 167 wouldnt be too hard to obtain and it would keep the costs down greatly, right?

"Thank you for the comments,
We went with the twin blowers for several reasons, with two
units you have a much fatter boost curve. The engine comes under boost earlier and makes more low rpm power. Being that each blower is not working as hard as one, parasitic loss is comparable. With two superchargers blower surge problems are reduced and tuning is easier. This system incorporates an all
new blower design (developed for this application),it is not a Vortec or Paxton. The system also uses a balance tube and a special belt tensioning system (that addresses the torque loads
of two blowers). The crossmenber is replaced with a stronger
trianglated unit."
