Yes you read it correctly, a few years ago I bought a showcase to better house some of my Viper stuff and decided to turn it into a shrine for VOI 11 memories :D

These are the pictures of how it currently looks (also houses the majority of my Minichamps GTS-R's), an identical one is in parts in the hobby room and just needs new glass plates because some are damaged and thus deemed unworthy of being used (it will eventually become a shrine for VOI 12 memories, just need to buy a few additional items to complete the picture in my mind).

Hope you enjoy the following pics and will find inspiration to make something similar yourselves! The first one shows the top shelf with a scale 1:12 JRL (not Anson) version of the black gen 1 that belongs to Jimmy from the NY/CT region who was my host for the duration of all 3 weeks.

Sneak Peek Room time schedule. Only "problem" is the group our table was in had red wrist bands and was allowed in together with yellow group :D I was heartbroken after discovering that I had lost mine upon packing our stuff to drive the 2000+ miles trip back to CT

In the back a Salt Lake City ice skating stadium hockey puck is visible as well as the VOI 11 thermo bottle and a Intrepid Air and Space Museum collectable coin.

The two collectable pins and key ring that I won during the sunday evening dinner. YES it needs to be dusted but between writing an extensive 4 part restoration report, work, and lots of other stuff there is just no time :dunno:

Intrepid miniature, Statue of Liberty replica (made in China ), and the VOI 11 coasters that were part of the goody bag.

Second shelf, the Boeing 777 was the plane on my inbound flight and the 747 took be back home to Holland.

The Attitude Adjuster glass was acquired during one of the gas stops on our way to SLC, then there is the VOI 11 glass and Key To Adventure of Wyoming.

Center section, still need to find a good picture of the V10 Challenger that was unveiled at the ice skating stadium.

This Little America Hotel pen makes for a nice touch.

My original Sneak Peek Room time schedule paper was given to Francois Castaing and Tom Gale to be signed (it so happened that they were sitting at the same table :omg:), I still start feeling choked up sometimes about the personal load of the message at the top.

Third shelf with all but 4 of my 1:43 Minichamps GTS-R collection.

Michelin tire napkin ring from the goody bag, 1:43 AutoArt Woodhouse Racing Competition Coupe (this will eventually be moved to the VOI 12 shrine and form a story of it's own there with the McCann Racing Scalextric slotcar :D) and the 1:18 AutoArt Daytona #91 GTS-R version of the real thing that was present at Miller Motorsports Park. We would be seeing it again in the Concord Embassy Suites lobby during VOI 12.

The green band was on my wrist when I drove the 7:22 setting ACR around one half of the Miller Motorsports Park track for 3 laps, more to that story after this picture.

The completed 7:22 ACR Dedication Corner with various scale models, the 1:64 on the left being an RC operated one that does SWEET donuts on slippery pavement :headbang: In the back is a picture of me getting out of the EXACT ACR that set the 7:22 record... you can picture me looking paralized like a combination of these two  :eek2: from the shock that my instructor gave me when he told me "why don't you get into this one over here". HELLOOOOOOO?!?!?! My first ever drive behind the wheel of a Viper and they let me take place into this one????... *passes out completely for the umpteenth time*

I forget which day this center piece was from. Next to it are a few items that were given to me as a gift by an extremely skilled craftsperson when everyone took over the main Park City road.

Saturday night's SRT dinner centerpiece signed by a number of people including Herb Helbig. Only needs to be signed by Bob Lutz and I have all four of the Viper Fourfathers... YAY :D! Word had it that he paid a lightning quick visit at Miller Motorsports Park with a helicopter.

The VOI 11 shrine in it's entire form. Yes my room is still a mess but what do you want when it and the hobby room are used as a place to stash all the parts for a car restoration project :dunno::eater:

Okay...you need to seek help...immediately! :D

That is a very much correct observation because the only thing missing from this madness is a fully functional scale 1:1 Viper in the driveway :D You want to become part of the "Help Willem get into a Viper" fund raiser party that was suggested a few weeks ago on friday night (a.k.a. Budweiser Night) in the Concord Embassy Suites bar :naughty:?

I especially like your GTSR and Boeing collection. I should send you one of my Continental aircraft (no UAL crap) to break up the KLM display. LOL. Nice. I must have a dozen of the No. 91 models. Imagine that!!

Well I do need a Delta Airlines Airbus A310 and Canadair Regional Jet (as operated by Delta Pinnacle from Detroit Metro Airport) for the VOI 12 shrine if that is anything you can/want to help me with :)

Nice shrine. Where is all the VOI 10 stuff I sent you?

Most of it is in the hobby room waiting for the car parts to start vacating the space they are taking up at the moment so I can start a pretty big redecoration of both that and my bedroom :) The wine glass is visible on top of the stereo. Trust me it is NOT forgotten! Just waiting for me to find a good spot to put it and a good number of other Viper stuff that people generously gave me.

He was right there in Park City during VOI 11 that is where he gave me the items I mentioned in one of the pics and later at the autocross Timbo and I took turns driving cars and being a passenger.
