Hello, I have a 2006 SRT-10 coupe. I had a skip shift eliminator installed from the dealer(Woodhouse in Nebraska). It has failed and thrown the 1719 code. Does anyone know a reputable shop in the Tampa, Florida area who will fix it?
Thank you

Do you just need the code cleared? or is there a problem with the skip shift eliminator itself? Is your check engine light on? I can clear the code for you, or reccomend some help either way. Otherwise

elite motorsports is in Tampa, and they specialize in vipers, Blue moon auto in new port richey specializes in high performance stuff and works on many vipers, they also have connections with SRT folk.

If it is similiar to gen II skip shift, it is just a plug in. But, you would have to remove the bottom pan to access the tranny

It is a simple plug in. If your arm is long enough and your fingers dextrous enough, it can be done without removing the pan. The new part is inexpensive. Just call Mark Jorgensen and he will help you out. If what happened to mine is what happened to yours, the skip shift is still eliminated but the part has become a bit out of electrical tolerance and causes a code to be generated without any effect on performance.
