Need help with my 60\' time for Bradenton

I need some advise launching my Viper, I've only ran it twice at the track, with a best pass of 10.2 @ 142 with a 1.68 60'. When I launched I came out at 2,000 RPM and floored it, no wheels spin at all. Whats the best 60' time that you have done on drag radials and how do you do it? If I can cut a 1.45 60' I'll be running 9.8-9.9's, thats my goal. I'm running 345 BFG drag radials.

I don't think 1.45 60' time is achievable on BFG's. For this, you need slicks. Guys, correct me if I'm wrong, but high 1.8s to 1.9s is good for street tires and 1.65 - 1.75 are good for DRs. This is my achilles heel as well since my best on street tires is 1.92 and 1.78 on DRs. This where it's at though. For every .1sec improvement in 60' translates to about .12sec on the ET.

Of course I may be full of s*it. Or as they say in the UK, 'that's a load of bollacks'!

I tell you the 1.68 was easy, just 2200 rpm and hit it.

1.7xx for street tires 1.55 - 1.65 are good for DRs if it is a good track.
