For the Autoform bar the L sections on the bottom legs attach to the vertical back panel via rivet nuts and the bottom of the legs attach through the floor pan to a small supplied plate that catches the edge of a frame rail underneath the car. The carpet must be cut out of the way. The top portion bolts into existing tapped hoes in the horizontal section of the bulk head, the holes are covered over by the plastic trim and a hole saw is needed to remove the plastic trim to reveal the tapped holes. These are the same holes where five point seat belts are attached. There are also two additional connections on the vertical section of the upper bulk head. An 8 inch section of the plastic lip of the upper bulk head must be removed so the bar sets flat. Two rivet nuts are installed into the upper vertical panel for the bar to bolt into.
