Need some Friendly Advice from people in the Louisiana Area

I might be relocating to Lake Charles area of Louisiana. Does anyone know of a Viper Club in that area? Any experiences with that area? I heard Louisiana is a pretty corrupt state, not to mention racist too. Well, I'm Asian so not sure how I would mix in that crowd...these are just hear says I hear from people. I'm sure there's good with the bad..please give some advice...thanks!
