New 19\" Forgelines - Who wants them? I can\'t use them...

Just picked up another Viper. Had lots of motor work and a Roe supercharger put on. Previous owner just installed 19" Forgelines, with new tires and all. Problem is, the car won't stick. So, I'm going to just use my 18" CCW's on the street. Does anyone want these wheels? They were $6k new, and also include the Viper center caps which were a couple hundred alone. I've put about 100 miles on them. Best offer takes them, as I have no use for them. For all you lowballers, I'll start the bidding at $5k :) Fronts are 295's, rears are 345's.

Re: New 19

I don't see why they wouldn't fit a GenI car... all of the other wheels do (CCW, BBS, stock wheels, etc.)

Jon - I already checked with Phong, he doesn't want them ;) Seriously, if you want them just give me a call...

Re: New 19

UPDATE: These wheels might be two years old. Just found out from a friend of the original owner. Got confused... was told the wheels and tires were brand new. I definitely know the tires are, judging from the tread...

Re: New 19

Jon,

I'll trade you these wheels for your chromed ACR's with a set of Kumhos on them :)

I might be able to get you some NON-Chromed ACRs for a swap. Let me know, and I'll check into it.

I know you love those ACRs!! :D

Re: New 19

How does these wheels fit your GTS? Your car looks lowered, and I know these same wheels/tires rubbed horribly in back on my lowered GTS. So...I put them on my stock-height RT-10, and the rears stick out. Any problem with yours?
thanks

I don't think they rub... but then again, the car is so dang loud I don't know how I'd be able to tell :)

Re: New 19

the rims go for 4100 new and the tires, 1600 new.

two years old... thats a little wear and tear.

:p

JD

Haha... you know me, I'd never mislead anyone on purpose. I was told the wheels/tires were just purchased. I might have misheard, and the original owner may have just said new tires.

Tires couldn't POSSIBLY be two years old. I just went out to my garage and measured... they average about 9/32nd's on the front (I believe published stock measurements were 10/32... not sure what ACTUAL new measurements are. Could be some variance there) and a little less on the back.

Sorry everybody, I should have measured first before posting this. I'll post closeup pics later... the wheels really could pass as new. But, since I've lost credibility now, I'll just post the pics :) Haven't verified that the wheels are two years old yet, just something another member said on the Alley who may know the previous owner.

20% discount off new prices... how's $4,500 sound?
