New ET drag radials

I first put this thread on the SRT section but this is obviously where I should have posted...TIRES, WHEELS,BRAKES section...duh

Anyway, Has anyone heard anything 'for sure" about these new tires. I have been told "next month" for about a year. MT told me last week that they are finally coming out at the end of this month (Jan-09). There are several vendors with pricing etc. Sounds promising.

Any body know anything?

I don't see this tire coming out anytime soon. Jegs and Summit had this tire listed for 18 months on their websites(I ordered a pair January '08) with prices and then cancelled all back orders in November , they said they have no idea when or if these tires will be made.
I called them 4 times last year and got different dates everytime. Last week they told me sometime Q1 this year.

I called MT last week. The guy told me that they were finally coming out at the end of this month (JAN 09)
