Hello everyone,
I've been poking around the site for a few weeks and it's finally time to introduce myself. My father recently purchased an 09 VVO coupe w/black stripes with just over 2500 miles on it. Let me start off by saying the car is not mine, but I am very fortunate to be able to drive it when he isnt! He doesnt know how to navigate through the forums and I plan on using the VCA to see what others are up to and hopefully meet some other members that are in the area.

My father and I have always been involved with cars together, I had a 98 WS6 Trans Am when I was 18, built that up to about 565rwhp, kept it for about 4 years and sold it when Dad and I decided to build a dedicated drag car. Built a 97 Camaro with a 540" Big Block, nitrous, powerglide etc and ran 8.50s with it. I was lucky enough to pilot that for 7 years until this past January when the car was sold (I kept the motor:headbang:)

My dad has had his 70 Nova SS and 70 Chevelle SS for about 10-12 years now and wanted something "newer". He has always liked the Gen IV cars and finally pulled the trigger on this one. So far, we both love it! Its fast, handles great, and turns a lot of heads!

Here are a few pictures of the Viper and of him and I at a local cruise night together.

welcome, You'll enjoy it and i bet you'll end up buying one for yourself too!!!:D

When I can afford one, I just might. I always wanted to "upgrade" my Trans Am to a Corvette, but all of the guys that had F-Body cars back in the day have Vettes now, so I will need something different!

Thanks everyone! Our area is littered with Corvettes, so its nice to show up with something else :)
We are doing a charity poker run on Sunday and I hope to have some video/pictures from the event. I am being told there is a GenV attending as well

Glad your dad likes the VVO. Great color, and the car looks to be as-new. I hope you and your dad have a great time and a lot of fun with that Viper! Have you all hooked up with other Viper owners in your area?

Not yet, a buddy of mine has a Gen III and apparently there is another VVO in town. Hope to meet a few this Sunday at the poker run.
