New Owner With A Tire Question (Imagine That)

Greetings, new owner here with the recent acquisition of a 2005 Doge Viper Copperhead Edition.

I find myself in the tire availability quandary. I have learned through a search on the forum (thanks) that a 255/30R19 can be substituted for the 345/30R19, allowing for slightly more selection, Continentals in this case. Has any forum members who have gone this route experienced any tire rubbing? Speedo error that is unmanageable? Usage for the Viper will be spirited street driving as opposed to track time.

Speedo will be unaffected on ABS cars.

Not exactly true, larger diameter tires will make the speedo indicate low. A rear end gear ratio change will not effect the speedo on ABS models though.
