Another Great product coming from Dave's Big Brakes

I've started the project to replace the PLASTIC hood release handle that are now starting to break. Our Vipers are now getting older & getting more use, making things that where ok before :( are now causing problems.

The above pictures are the OEM part. I should have a quote for a Billet version shortly :2tu:

Please check my web site for new products @ www.davesbigbrakes.com
SRT-10 products are also now available.

Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,

Any way of getting some sort of lock on it to prevent someone from opening the hood?

Thanks,
Alex

Plum - You can't use one. your IC mounts in place of a hood release. you get to improvise on hood release... can't use the original handle at all. Sorry plum!

Dave, sorry to high jack your thread, but....

Joseph, I was able to use mount the hood release in front of my intercooler by just shaving off part of the handle and part of the fiberglass reinforcement. If the handle was billet, you could likely shave even more and still retain enough structural integrity. :2tu:

How does DLM normally mount them????
